Investigative Meetings. In order that no unwarranted disciplinary action will be taken against a teacher, the Appointing Authority will make a full and comprehensive investigation of any alleged violation of the Agreement, rules and regulations, laws or other restrictive edicts affecting a teacher(s) that could be sufficient cause for disciplinary action. Upon request of a teacher who is the subject of an investigation, the Appointing Authority shall inform the teacher whether the status of the investigation is active or is no longer active.

Upon request of an employee who is the subject of an investigation, the Appointing Authority shall inform the employee whether the status of the investigation is active or is no longer active.
Investigative Meetings. When a supervisor calls an educator to an investigatory conference or meeting where it is evident, or the educator reasonably believes, that disciplinary action may result, the educator shall be permitted, upon request, to be accompanied by, and represented by a Union representative.

Such meetings will be delayed for a reasonable period of time, not to exceed four (4) hours, to allow the APFA representative to be present, provided the Flight Attendant remains at the place of the meeting while awaiting the APFA representative. The presence of an APFA representative at such meetings shall in no way interfere with the conduct of the meeting.
