Information Manager. On a BIM Project an Information Manager (who will probably also have another role) may be appointed by the Employer to initiate, agree, implement and manage the requirements for the production, delivery and use of models on a project. The BIM Task Group has published an outline scope of services for the Information Management Role, which should not involve significant risk. If an alternative scope of services is used care should be taken so that it is clear to what extent he is responsible for corruption of data and any other issues arising from the exchange of information.
