Hazards Control. Contractor shall store volatile wastes in covered metal containers and remove them from the Site regularly, which shall be daily when appropriate for the type of hazardous wastes to be removed. Contractor shall prevent accumulation of wastes that create hazardous conditions. Contractor shall provide adequate ventilation during use of volatile or noxious substances.

Hazards Control. 1. When use or storage of any hazardous materials or equipment, or unusual method is necessary for execution of the Work, the Design‐Builder shall exercise utmost care and carry on such activities under supervision of properly qualified personnel. The Design‐ Builder shall notify the District any time that explosives or hazardous materials are expected to be stored on Site. Location of storage shall be coordinated with the District and local fire authorities.

Certain types of accident or injury must be reported on a special form to the local authority. The Hall Secretary will give assistance in completing this form. This is in accordance with the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995 (RIDDOR).

  • Environmental Measures (i) The Contractor agrees to conduct its activities in connection with the Agreement in such a manner so as to comply with the environmental requirements which includes, inter alia, all the conditions required to be satisfied under the environmental clearances and applicable law, and assumes full responsibility for measures which are required to be taken to ensure such compliance.
