Energy cooperation. 1. The Parties agree that their joint objective will be to xxxxxx cooperation in the field of energy, in key sectors such as hydroelectricity, electricity, oil and gas, renewable energy, energy saving technology, rural electrification and regional integration of energy markets, among others as identified by the Parties, and in compliance with domestic legislation.

Energy cooperation. Article 76 The Parties agree to continue their current cooperation on energy matters on the basis of the principles of partnership, mutual interest, transparency and predictability. The cooperation should aim at energy efficiency, market integration and regulatory convergence in the energy sector, taking into account the need to ensure competitiveness and access to secure, environmentally sustainable and affordable energy, including through the provisions of the Energy Community Treaty.
Energy cooperation. The Contracting Parties recognise the importance of the energy sector for economic and social development, and are prepared to step up their cooperation in this field, notably as regards planning, conservation, the efficient use of energy, and the search for new sources of energy. This improved cooperation will also take environmental implications into consideration. To these ends, the Parties agree to promote: - joint studies and research, - assessment of the potential of alternative energy sources and the use of energy-saving technology in manufacturing processes, - ongoing contacts between energy planners, - the execution of joint programmes and projects in this field.

  • Cultural cooperation 1. The aims of cultural cooperation will be: (a) to build on existing agreements or arrangements already in place for cultural cooperation; and (b) to promote information and cultural exchanges between the Parties. 2. The Parties will encourage and facilitate, as appropriate, the following activities, including, but not limited to: (a) dialogue on cultural policies and promotion of local culture; (b) exchange of cultural events and promote awareness of artistic works; (c) exchange of experience in conservation and restoration of national heritage; (d) exchange of experience on management for the arts; (e) protecting archaeological monuments and cultural heritage; (f) having a consultation mechanism between the Parties' culture authorities; and (g) cooperation in the audio-visual field, mainly coproduction and training programs in this sector and means of communication, including training, development and distribution activities.
