Common use of ECOLOGICALLY SUSTAINABLE FOREST MANAGEMENT Clause in Contracts

ECOLOGICALLY SUSTAINABLE FOREST MANAGEMENT. 40. The Parties agree that ESFM is an objective which requires a long term commitment to continuous improvement and that the key elements for achieving it in accordance with clause 7 are: • the establishment of a CAR Reserve System (Attachment 1); • the development of internationally competitive Forest Products industries; and • a fully integrated and strategic forest management system capable of responding to new information.
