Duration Period. This Agreement shall be effective as of July 1, 2009 and shall continue in effect until June 30, 2012 subject to the Association's right to negotiate over successor Agreement as provided in Article II. The Agreement shall be amended at any time during its term by mutual consent and ratification of parties as provided in Article 4 of this Agreement. However, the Administration and Board may stipulate on matters not expressly provided for in the Agreement by means of a written memorandum of understanding between the Board and the Association. A memorandum of understanding is binding upon execution by the Superintendent and the Association President but requires subsequent ratification unless its duration is for a period of one year or less.
