District Chiefs. Employees temporarily assigned to work as a District Chief for one half (½) shift shall receive a five (5%) percent wage supplement paid retroactively to the beginning of the first shift. District Chiefs assigned to the Floating Squad who may be required to work in Battalion 7 shall be paid an additional 2% of their base pay for all hours worked within Battalion 7.
District Chiefs. (a) Current employment with the County as a Captain, ARFF Captain, Special Operations Captain or EMS Captain; and
District Chiefs. Deputy Chief Paramedics and division directors to keep an accurate accounting of each employee’s number of Xxxxx Day exchanges and traded tour of duty or combination thereof under their command.
District Chiefs. All District Chief vehicles shall be staffed with one (1) District Chief and one (1) E/O Incident Command Technician. Additionally any District newly created during the tenure of this Agreement, will also be staffed with a District Chief and one (1) E/O Incident Command Technician. All backup Incident Command Technicians shall be of the Engineer/Operator rank.
District Chiefs. Captains qualified to act in the capacity of District Chief will be assigned to a specific District Chief, to a maximum of sixtyfour (64) across Toronto Fire Services, according to their standing on the Promotional List. Only when an acting role cannot be filled by the Captains identified above will other acting roles be assigned. Selection shall be made using the promotional list to identify the actor with the highest standing who is at work and available within the Command.
