Common use of Conduct of Work Clause in Contracts

Conduct of Work. CSXT shall commence its work under this Agreement following: (i) delivery to CSXT of a notice to proceed from Agency; (ii) payment of Reimbursable Expenses (as provided by Section 4.1) as required by CSXT prior to the commencement of work by CSXT; (iii) issuance of all permits, approvals and authorizations necessary or appropriate for such work; and (iv) delivery of proof of insurance acceptable to CSXT, as required by Section 9. The initiation of any services by CSXT pursuant to this Agreement, including, but not limited to, the issuance of purchase orders or bids for materials or services, shall constitute commencement of work for the purposes of this Section. The parties intend that all work by CSXT or on CSXT property shall conclude no later than May 4, 2022, unless the parties mutually agree to extend such date.
