Cargo Handling. The Special Agreement to be signed for each vessel, shall provide arrangements for cargo handling and other work traditionally or historically done by dock workers, see Appendix B, art. 1 litra j. Compensation to the crew for such work performed during normal working week shall be by the payment of the overtime rate as specified in the wage scale, for each hour or part of an hour that such work is performed, in addition to the basic wage. Any such work performed outside the normal working week will be compensated at double the overtime rate as specified in the wage scale for each hour or part of an hour that such work is performed. Cargo Handling. Cargo Handling. Ship's crew shall not be required or induced to carry out cargo handling and other work traditionally or historically done by dock workers without the prior agreement of the docker's union concerned and provided that the individual seafarers volunteer to carry out such duties, for which they shall be compensated.
Cargo Handling. Carrier shall properly and carefully load, handle, stow, carry and discharge Shipper's Cargo. The types of Cargo carried under this Contract shall be petroleum products, including, but not limited to, aviation grade kerosene (to be used for non-aviation purposes only), non-aviation gas turbine fuels, naphtha, diesel fuel oils and residual fuel oils, with a maximum of three (3) grades within the Barge's natural segregation. It is the intention of Shipper that the Cargo transported under this Contract will include but not be limited to Grade A petroleum products, Diesel Fuel Oil and No. 6 Industrial Fuel Oil which are approximately described in Exhibits E and F, attached hereto and incorporated herein, respectively. No Cargo, thing or substance which, due to its composition, size, shape, weight or any combination thereof, constitutes an unreasonable hazard to the Barge, its equipment and/or the safe operation thereof, shall be shipped, nor shall any voyage be undertaken nor any goods or Cargo loaded that would involve any risk of seizure, capture or penalty by any government or governmental authority, nor shall any contraband of war be shipped.

An officer shall not be required or induced to carry out cargo handling and other work traditionally or historically done by dock workers without prior agreement of the ITF Dockers Union concerned and provided that the individual officer volunteer to carry out such duties, for which he shall be adequately compensated.
Cargo Handling. 1. Neither the Seafarers nor anyone else onboard the Vessel whether in permanent or temporary employment by the Owners/Company shall carry out cargo handling and other work traditionally or historically done by dock workers without the prior agreement of the ITF Dockers Unions or Unions concerned and provided that the individual Seafarers volunteer to carry out such duties, for which they should be adequately compensated.
