Altona Area Allowance. An employee working on construction work (as defined) within a 8 km radius from the intersection of Kororiot Creek Road and Millers Road, Altona shall, when employed on chemical or petrochemical plants or on commercial or industrial construction jobs within 1 km of the nearest part of the perimeter of such plants or within the perimeter of storage tank farms, be paid an all-purpose allowance of 86 cents per hour extra, as varied from time to time by the NBCIA.

Altona Area Allowance. (a) An Apprentice working within a 8km radius from the intersection of Kororoit Creek Road and Millers Road, Altona, shall when employed on chemical or petrochemical plants or on commercial or industrial jobs within 1km of the nearest part of the perimeter of such plants or within the perimeter of storage tank farms, be paid an all-purpose allowance of $1.10 per hour extra (current as at 1 June 2016). This allowance will be adjusted annually (effective from 1 June) in accordance with CPI movements (All Groups, Melbourne) for the preceding 12 months to March (increases to be rounded to the nearest 5 cents).

Altona Area Allowance. As of 1 October 2020 an Employee within a 8 km radius from the intersection of Kororoit Creek Road and Millers Road, Altona shall, when employed on chemical or petrochemical plants or on commercial or industrial construction jobs within 1 km of the nearest part of the perimeter of such plants or within the perimeter of storage tank farms, be paid an all-purpose allowance of $1.35 per hour extra. This allowance will be adjusted annually in accordance with CPI (All Groups, Melbourne) movements measured in the twelve month period ending the previous December quarter effective as of 1 March 2021, rounded to the nearest 5 cents.

  • Site Allowance All new construction and extension/refurbishment work having a project value in excess of $2.0m will attract the then current City of Melbourne Site Allowance.

  • Cleaning Allowance The University will pay for the cleaning of Department issued uniforms and necessary work clothing requiring cleaning worn by employees assigned to non-uniformed positions.

  • First Aid Allowance An employee who has been trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. John's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid a weekly allowance of $11.50 if appointed by their employer to perform first aid duty.

  • Meal Allowance A shift worker who works a qualifying shift of eight hours or the rostered shift, whichever is the greater, and who is required to work more than one hour beyond the end of the shift (excluding any break for a meal) shall be paid a meal allowance of $7.95, or, at the option of the employer, be provided with a meal.

  • Aid Allowance An employee who has been appointed by the Employer and trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. Xxxx's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid weekly an allowance as detailed in Appendix A. The Employer will always appoint the appropriate number of First Aid Officers as required by relevant legislation and Code of Practice.

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.

  • Boot Allowance The District will pay $180 toward the purchase and/or repair of work boots for District Employees listed in the District’s Work Apparel Policy and/or at the discretion of the employee’s department manager. Payment will be made by the first full paycheck of the employee’s date of hire and annually thereafter. Boots must meet applicable OSHA standards for the duties assigned.
