Common use of Academic Year Clause in Contracts

Academic Year. “Academic year” shall mean the nine (9)-month period from September 1 to and including May 31 following; provided, however, that in the case of members of the faculty employed at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, the academic year shall be defined pursuant to the provisions of Article XII-A, Section B, of this Agreement.
